FMX/05 - Stuttgart

www.fmx.de

My colleague, Arthur Shek, and I were invited to speak at the FMX conference in Stuttgart, Germany during the last week of April. The subject of our combined presentation was an extended version of Walt Disney Feature Animation's SIGGRAPH 2004 lectures on cartoony 3D character animation and associated software tools. Our session was very well received, and we had a great time at the conference. In addition to the FMX program, we were treated to a tour of the Filmakademie Baden-Wurttemberg and the outstanding work being done by the students of the animation institute.
